Installing Microsoft Outlook on iPhone & Samsung (Android) with Microsoft 365 Login

For iPhone (iOS) Users:

  1. Open the App Store
    • Unlock your iPhone and go to the App Store.
  2. Search for Microsoft Outlook
    • Tap on the Search icon and type Microsoft Outlook.
  3. Download & Install
    • Tap Get, then Install (you may need to enter your Apple ID password or use Face ID/Touch ID).
  4. Open the Outlook App
    • Once installed, tap Open to launch Outlook.
  5. Sign in with Microsoft 365
    • Enter your M365 email address (e.g., yourname@company.com) and tap Add Account.
  6. Enter Your Password
    • Type your Microsoft 365 password and tap Sign In.
  7. Complete Multi-Factor Authentication (if required)
    • Approve the login request via Authenticator app, SMS, or email verification.
  8. Enable Notifications (Optional)
    • You may be asked to allow notifications for new emails—choose Allow or Don’t Allow.
  9. Finish Setup
    • Your emails, contacts, and calendar will now sync.
    • Tap Skip if you don’t want to add another account.

For Samsung (Android) Users:

  1. Open the Google Play Store
    • Unlock your Samsung phone and open the Play Store.
  2. Search for Microsoft Outlook
    • In the search bar, type Microsoft Outlook.
  3. Download & Install
    • Tap Install and wait for the app to download.
  4. Open the Outlook App
    • Once installed, tap Open to launch Outlook.
  5. Sign in with Microsoft 365
    • Enter your M365 email address and tap Continue.
  6. Enter Your Password
    • Type your Microsoft 365 password and tap Sign In.
  7. Complete Multi-Factor Authentication (if required)
    • Approve the login request via Authenticator app, SMS, or email verification.
  8. Enable Notifications (Optional)
    • Tap Allow if you want to receive email notifications.
  9. Finish Setup
    • Your emails, contacts, and calendar will now sync.
    • Tap Skip if you don’t want to add another account.

Final Check:

✅ Ensure the Outlook app is syncing emails properly.
✅ If login fails, check your Microsoft 365 password and MFA settings.
✅ If you still have issues, contact IT Helpdesk.
