Steps to Enable Automatic External Forwarding for All Mailboxes

 

  1. Log into Microsoft 365 Defender as an administrator.
     
  2. Under Email & Collaboration go to Policies & Rules  
     

  3. Under Policies & Rules click on Threat policies  
     
  4.  Select Anti-spam  


  5. Click on Anti-spam outbound policy (Default) 
     

  6. Scroll down and click on Edit protection settings link at the bottom of the side pane 
     

  7. Under Forwarding Rules pull down the Automatic Forwarding Rules list and choose On – Forwarding is enabled  
     

  8. Click Save at the bottom
